Opposite the White Studio, which was previously Moore’s enlargement studio and is now an area for conservation, is a recent reconstruction of his ‘plastic’ studio. The transparent material allowed the larger plasters to be worked on in natural light. At present it contains the original plaster working model,  and the polystyrene and the plaster from which the bronze casts of Draped Reclining Mother and Baby 1983  (LH821) were made.
