The Henry Moore Foundation

The Henry Moore Foundation is a registered Charity, established in 1977 ‘to advance the education of the public by the promotion of their appreciation of the fine arts and in particular the works of Henry Moore’. It operates from Dane Tree House, Perry Green and the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds.

Situated within the Foundation’s grounds at Perry Green is Moore’s house and garden, as well as his studios and many of his larger sculptures. In addition to these attractions there are two exhibition areas, the Sheep Field Barn gallery and the Aisled Barn. The former is a used to display changing exhibitions of Moore’s work, and the latter is used to display nine large tapestries based on his drawings.
