Drop-in Drawing Events
Have fun drawing natural and found objects while the Herman Obrist exhibition runs.
Workshop
14th June 2010 - 28th June 2010
HMI entrance foyer

Taking inspiration from natural forms, our participants produced some interesting sketches at our drop-in drawing events.
These drop-in drawing events were designed to coincide with the themes of our exhibition 'Hermann Obrist: Art Nouveau Sculptor'. The activities encouraged children to draw inspiration from the organic forms embedded in Obrist's otherworldly sculptures, and were designed for families to learn and have fun together.
We think these Summer drawing sessions were a huge success. One happy parent commented that they were 'excellent fun for adults and kids. My children are aged 1, 6 and 8 years old and they all had a fantastic time.'
The children who came along were encouraged to observe and sketch, with suggested drawing activities such as making collages or using a view finder. Their work was temporarily exhibited in the Henry Moore Institute reception area before being taken home.
