Art magazines in the 1960s and 1970s were a crucial site for the circulation of ideas about sculpture.  Our last Library display was curated by David Briers, who selected magazines from our collections that used their pages as sites for wrestling with the problems of sculpture in the 1960s and 1970s. In this discussion he is joined by Anthony Davies and Jo Melvin, both scholars who have researched how sculpture and art history have been tested, challenged and defined in art magazines.
